Keith Fiala
Keith Fiala is a master LA-based trumpeter, composer/arranger, author, producer, technical consultant, and clinician.
He’s been a featured member of the legendary Maynard Ferguson Band, as well as with Maestro Arturo Sandoval’s various ensembles.
Formerly, Arturo’s assistant, Fiala has been an active, integral part of and participant in Sandoval’s recordings, live performances, and film scoring/soundtrack efforts. Fiala is now pursuing a solo career and has 3 albums as well as several singles out in circulation.
He’s authored celebrated trumpet books, including “About Face” and “Secrets to Efficient Brass Playing.”
Fiala is a former faculty member and performer at Temple Junior College in Temple, Texas.
He is a student of Ray Crisara, “Pops” McLaughlin, and Arturo Sandoval.
