Bach Stradivarius Bell Repair

Its unfortunate when any instrument takes major damage. Even more unfortunate when it is a nearly new instrument!

This one wasn’t brand new, but the bell was perfect when I sold it to the customer a year prior.

I dont know how it was done, but the bell has been seriously abused. It almost looked intentional it was so bad!

No possible single accident could have caused all of this. It was like the bell had taken on a completely new shape!

No replating was used in this repair. All of the scratches were burnished out by hand to make the bell look as new as possible again.
